What is Adobe PageMaker?
Adobe PageMaker is graphical layout software used for projects that will be printed, and is considered a standard in the desktop publishing market. Adobe PageMaker was designed to output color separations and produce high quality output. Adobe PageMaker was the pioneer desktop publishing program for the Macintosh, with versions that run on both the PC and Mac. It is an ideal page layout program for business, education, and small- and home-office professionals who want to create high-quality publications such as brochures and newsletters.
Adobe PageMake includes quick start templates, graphics, and intuitive design tools, and integrates with other Adobe applications. Adobe has "replaced" PageMaker with InDesign, which offers an upgrade to the PageMaker Edition, a specially priced version of InDesign that includes the Adobe PageMaker Plug-in Pack plus extensive training materials.
